DeVante Wynn is entering his first season as Head Men’s Basketball Coach at Bowdon High School.
Coach Wynn has been teaching and coaching since 2019. This is his first stint as a varsity head coach, but he has seen lots of success at the sub-varsity level including an undefeated season in 2021-2022. He has also won a region championship as an assistant coach during his time at Temple High School.
Coach Wynn earned his B.S. degree and MBA from Reinhardt University as well as earned his teaching degree from Young Harris College.
Outside of basketball, Coach Wynn is a public speaker and published author.
Coach Yarbrough is entering his 9th year in education and is currently the Co-Offensive Coordinator for the Bowdon Red Devils Football team. This will be his 1st year as the Varsity Girls Basketball Coach. He is from Heflin, Alabama and is a graduate of Jacksonville State University where he obtained his Bachelor's Degree.
Before moving to Bowdon, he was the Quarterbacks coach at Hueytown High School in Birmingham, AL and the Offensive Coordinator at White Plains High School in Anniston, AL.
He and his wife have a daughter and are so glad to be a part of the Bowdon community.
