Biography

Hello!  My name is Lisa Eidson, and I’m thrilled to say this is my 27th year in education.  I grew up in Carrollton, Georgia and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Middle School Education from West Georgia College in 1996, a Master of Education in Middle School from the University of West Georgia in 1998, a Master of Education in School Library Media in 2006, and a Specialist of Education in School Library Media from the University of West Georgia in 2010.  I began my teaching career in the Haralson County School District.  I taught five years in this district before moving to Carroll County School District in 2001.

My teaching philosophy is very simple in that students do not care how much you know until they know how much you care.  I try to show my caring for students by forming positive relationships and trying to help them find their dreams and strengths so they can believe in themselves the way I believe in them.

Currently, I live in Waco, Georgia with my husband, Chris, and two children (Lyndsey and Cade).  I enjoy reading, playing tennis, watching movies, spending time on the farm, and watching my daughter compete in rodeos.
